What is the Shanti Creations Affiliate Program and how does it work?
The Shanti Creations Affiliate Program is a service that allows participating websites, blogs, influencers, and our loyal customers to earn commissions on sales referred to Shanti Creations using specially tracked links. We provide you with a custom link that can be put on your website, blog, or social media, etc. Then when a visitor you’ve referred to us makes a purchase, we’ll keep track and give you a commission on the sale.
How do I sign up?
Sign up for the Shanti Creations Affiliate Program by visiting https://shanticreationsnyc.idevaffiliate.com/signup.php . Once you submit your application, we will review and either accept or reject the application within 1-5 business days.
Do I need a website in order to be eligible for the Affiliate Program?
Nope! Absolutely not. This program is designed for influencers, bloggers, those active on social media and candle lovers who want to make some extra cash for telling people about their favorite candles! Although, If you have a website, this program is a great way to make some extra money by simply putting up a banner with your unique tracking code.
Are there any fees?
No. There are no fees associated with the Shanti Creations Affiliate Program. It is completely free to participate. Share your love for our candles, and get paid for every sale made!
What is your commission rate?
We have a 10% commission rate for our Affiliate program.
The only exception to this is, our candles that we make donations to charity. Justice 4 Saraya candles only receive a 1% commission and our other four charity candles receive a 5% commission.
Do I receive any discounts on Shanti Creations products since I’m an affiliate?
Yes, all affiliates will receive a 10% off promo code upon their acceptance into the program to use for their own purchases, along with sharing with their following. We also recommend you purchase your orders through your own links so you can earn commission on the sales.
Do I earn commission credits if someone clicks on a product on my site and then buys a different product?
Yes. You will receive full credit for any product that is purchased by a customer who clicks on your affiliate link across www.shanticreationsnyc.com .
Can I use images from Shanti Creations on my websites?
All of the content on the Shanti Creations website is protected by copyright. You may use images and content from our websites in the promotion of our products on your own website, however all images must be attributed and/or used in conjunction with the sale of the product through the affiliate programs. The images cannot be used in the general design of your website. If you have a special circumstance that requires the use of any photos, product images or content in a manner that is not consistent with the policy stated above, please contact us for written approval prior to the content’s use. Is there a minimum annual threshold?
There is no minimum sales level required to remain in the program, at this current time, but you will not receive a commission until you earn $30 in commissions.
Can I use images from Shanti Creations on my social media?
Of course, we offer a plethora of different photo options that you can include on your social media. We always ask that you tag @shanticreationsnyc & @zerowastecandles --- along with giving credit to any photographer for that specific photo. This information will be tagged on the content for you to easily be able to give credit. If you have any questions, please just reach out!

How do I know if my application has been received or if I have been accepted into the affiliate program?
If your application has been submitted correctly, you should receive a confirmation e-mail from iDevAffiliate stating that we received your inquiry, and that you are pending approval. Approval can take 1-5days. If you do not receive this e-mail, please check your spam folder. Otherwise, you may not have finished the process correctly and should therefore resubmit your application. If approved, you will receive a Welcome e-mail from our Affiliate Manager.
How do I create links to Shanti Creations?
A link is automatically created for you once your account has been approved. You can find this when you sign into the Shanti Creations Affiliate Page. Under your Account Homepage, you will see a Standard Linking Code. This code is unique to your affiliate ID. When you add the link to your website, social media or a banner on your site, it will be tagged with your unique affiliate ID and automatically track all sales that you send to our site.
Please contact us and we may be able to work with you to create custom banners or ads and even possibly create a custom discount code for your readers, followers, etc.
Am I obligated to place a certain number of links on my website?
No. There is neither a minimum nor a limit. We encourage you to use as many as necessary and appropriate to improve click-through and conversion rates. The more candles sold the more money in your pocket!
How does the affiliate program know when I should receive credit for an order?
iDevAffiliate tracks a cookie that is automatically applied to the computer of a person who clicks on a banner or text link that has your affiliate ID number embedded within it. The link you are assigned is specifically tagged with your iDefAffiliate ID number, letting us know that you deserve commission on the sales you send our way.
You can access this link by logging in to your Shanti Creations Affiliate Account and choosing from any of the banners or just use the code that is already created. These links can be used from any website, put directly into a browser or emailed out in the case of text links. You can test a link by copying and pasting it into your browser. If you are directed to the Shanti Creations website, the link is working. Do not copy and paste a landing page url from our website and confuse it for an affiliate link, since it will not track properly.
When and how do I get paid?
Shanti Creations will pay your monthly commission via PayPal around the 1st of the following month. You must have a PayPal account in order to be part of our affiliate program. Your account needs to have a balance of $30 or more before the end of the month in order to receive a payment. Otherwise, it will continue to roll forward into the next month until the $30 minimum is reached and we can issue a payment.
Why do I need to submit a 1099-MISC after $200 commissions?
For payments in a single tax year that collectively go above $600, we need to file a form. We collect this form after $200 is paid in commission. We will pause all payments after $200 until we have a 1099-MISC form on file. This is only to ensure everything is in line for if and when you go above that $600 mark. As soon as we have this on file, your payments will resume.
What is your return days or cookie policy?
If a visitor comes to our websites from your website but does not purchase on that visit, you can still earn commission on sales from that customer if they return and make a purchase within ten (10) days. This works even if they navigate directly to the website on a return visit as long as they haven’t deleted their cookies.
How do product returns affect my commission?
If a customer returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited the commission. We have a no-return policy, but once in a while there are circumstances that require a refund to be issued.
